Al Dente, the Modern Italy
Our restaurant has two dining spaces; our main dining room, Enoteca and our second dining room, Sapori.
The difference; the aesthetic of each dining space. Enoteca, the more formal dining space, and Sapori, the more casual of the two. We also have a private room toward the front of Sapori, should you wish to dine in style and in peace.
We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, with our spin on the Modern Italy extending to all our menus.
Breakfast
We’re not a cafe, we’re not a trendy brunch spot, we’re just doing what we do best. Putting throughtful plates of food and flavour together, earlier in the day. Combining Italian food traditions and Australian ingredients brings us to the Modern Italy. Where traditional Italian techniques are respected, and reinvented with the incorporation of global flavours.

At-Home Dining
If you prefer a quality meal at home, without the fuss of preparing it all yourself, we’re here to lend a helping hand. We’re always busy kneading, rolling, filling and folding our signature egg-yolk rich pasta dough, cushioning creative flavours between the sheets of pasta, ready for you to prepare at home.
We release a weekly menu via our partner platform, Cookaborough, via email, for you to browse through our products, ready to be delivered to your door each week on a Saturday.
Weekly specials, signature mainstays, and our favourite flavours of Italy and Australia are always available.

How Al Dente Started
Our story is one about belief, passion and hard work.
We started Al Dente during a global pandemic which changed every aspect of life to the core; a time when nothing was taken for granted, but we kept working hard towards our dreams.
We’re building our community, our Al Dente family, here in Carlton.
